Below is a list of the more common issues that I deal with:
Interaction Issues
Living with adults that we haven't chosen as partners or friends
can be immensely stressful and lead to a number of different problems
such as jealousy and bullying .
 Coping Techniques
Methods on becoming a stronger person. How to start becoming more
aware of behaviour and the consequences, making appropriate decisions
and being responsible for our choices.
Confidence and Self-esteem
Ways to generally feel better about the person
you are or help being the person you aim to be as confidence to everything, as our behaviour alters to do with how we are feeling.
 Communication Issues
Do you know what you want to say, does it sometimes feel like others
just don't understand or "get you".
Learn techniques to get your point across without miscommunication
Assertiveness Training
Do people find you aggressive and do things
for you under fear tactics? Or are you a crewmember who feels left
out or not listened to as you're shy and make judgments to do with
that? Sometimes it can be useful to learn ways to be assertive and
clear, still gaining respect, without being a walk over or aggressive.
At the end of the day it's about ways to get the most out of people.

Anger Management
Do you find yourself losing it sometimes?
Crewmembers, your wife, lads, financing.
Does it feel like your behaviour can get out of control? There are
often simple ways of dealing with this.
What are you waiting for? Let's try and make everyone’s situation
a little calmer!

Drug & Alcoholic Addiction
Alcoholic Addiction is a chronic disease characterized by a strong
craving for alcohol, a constant or periodic reliance on use of alcohol
despite adverse consequences, the inability to limit drinking, physical
illness when drinking is stopped, and the need for increasing amounts
of alcohol to feel its effects.
This is a state of heavy dependence on a drug, sometimes defined
as physical dependence but usually also including emotional dependence,
ie, compulsive or pathological drug use. It is often used synonymously
with substance dependence or it can be the case where lifestyle
feels it has just taken over you and you'd like to have a little
more choice and control when it comes to decisions about alcohol
and drugs.

Relationship Issues
Relationship Issues are many and varied from;
Breaking up / Communicating / Extra-Material Affairs / Home issues
/ Money worries / In-laws / Parenting / Second marriage issues /
Sex & Intimacy or trying to make it work long distance,
making your partner feel reassured, dealing with pressure and how
to eliminate it in a positive way or becoming shore based when both
partners have been used to living separately a lot of the time and
the issues that arise - interaction with children, where do each
of the parents fit and what role do you play in disciplining etc
if you're to go away again.

Depression
Depression; is very common and effects as many as one in eight people
in their teen years. Depression affects people of every colour,
race, economic status, or age. However, it seem to affect more females
than males during adolescence and adulthood.

Bereavement
Bereavement; there are no right or wrong reactions to death. We
all need to grieve in our own way and in our own time. For some
this might mean crying, for others not. For some this is likely
to take months and years, for others not. Reactions and feelings
can change from hour to hour, and day to day. Some days are good
while others are bad, some days you'll be up and others down again.

OCD
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) sufferers are plagued by persistent,
recurring and unwanted thoughts about feared situations (obesessions),
which they often attempt to fight with mental or physical rituals,
i.e. excessive repetition of actions, washing, checking or counting,
or agonizing ruminations (compulsions).

Eating Disorders
An expression of deep emotional conflict which results in an individual
experiencing a distressed relationship with food. Anorexia nervosa
is an extreme fear of becoming overweight and leading to excessive
dieting to the point of serious ill-health. Bulimia is a condition
in which bouts of over eating are followed by under eating, use
of laxatives, or self induced vomiting
This is associated with depression and anxiety about putting on
weight.

Dyslexia
Dyslexia is a brain-based type of learning disability that specifically
impairs a person's ability to read. These individuals typically
read at levels significantly lower than expected despite having
normal intelligence. Although the disorder varies from person to
person, common characteristics among people with dyslexia are difficulty
with phonological processing (the manipulation of sounds)
and/or rapid visual-verbal responding. Dyspraxia, some children
despite adequate teaching, a stimulating environment and with a
generally normal intellect, have difficulty with movement and specific
aspects of learning. Dyspraxia is a difficulty with thinking out,
planning and carrying out sensory/motor tasks.

Child Behavioral Disorders
Child Behavioral Disorders; In young people can have mental, emotional,
and behavioral problems that are real, painful, and costly. These
problems, often called "disorders," are sources of stress
for children and their families, schools, and communities. The number
of young people and their families who are affected by mental, emotional,
and behavioral disorders is significant. It
is estimated that as many as one in five children and adolescents
may have a mental health disorder that can be identified and require
treatment.
